REFLECTION

Energy and Architecture is a fun and interesting module for me, because it did not have much workload and the assignments are very different compared to other modules.

For the first project we were required to do a report of a building with low energy but in a form of a video. Together as a group we not only gathered information, but also we learned some simple animation skills which I find quite exciting because we do not have this kind of experience in other modules. Although it has some work to do, but we managed it quite well as a team and had a smooth process until the submission.

As for the second project we were required to do a site visit of our desired building to do an analysis of Energy Efficient Green Building in a form of a vlog. In this case we chose IKEA Cheras, the process was pretty fun because it felt like we are doing assignments while having fun in IKEA. Again, we finished quite smoothly for this project because we worked well as a team and it helped most of us built confidence in public speaking.

For the final project, sadly it is an individual project and I can no longer share the workload with people, but it is still interesting as we are conducting the report based on our own accommodation we live in. It made me learn so much about our energy consumption and especially in how to calculate the electric bill correctly.

Overall, this module is by far the most enjoyable compared to the other modules in this semester.
