REFLECTION

This module has two projects and one final exam, although it does not has as much workload as the studio projects, it is still considered a not easy module for me.

The first project is a group project of 5 people, it is easy for us to delegate tasks between this group because originally we are already close friends. Throughout the whole project, we mostly do it together in physical meetings and shared the workload. In this project particularly I also learned about IBS, which is interesting as I did not realized before that is it mainly used in constructing buildings and how to calculate the score. We finished and submitted on time quite smoothly, hence i find this project quite enjoyable

As for the second project I learned a lot in joineries and also construction, it made me learn that I cannot simply design a structure freely without considering how it will be constructed and whether it is efficient or not to use some certain materials. The due date for this project also clashes with the final presentation of Architecture Studio 4, which made me struggle a lot in managing my time. From this project I also learned the importance of time management and planning before starting an assignment in order to finish them efficiently and also on time.

Overall, this module has taught me many valuable lesson in construction and has been helpful in aiding my studio design.
