Architectural Design 5
REFLECTION
Known as the hardest semester and module, I was not really surprised to find out how tough this module was for this semester. Unlike the previous semesters, this time the project was split into 4 parts, not three.

Phase 1.1 and 1.2 are a group project which members were picked randomly for us. Due to this, i struggled a lot in the beginning due to feeling uncomfortable because most of the members were not my close friends. In all honesty, there were also so many miscommunications among us that led to more struggles until the near end. But fortunately, some of the members and I can communicate pretty well and we pushed through until the end with these few members together, although there were some sleepless nights. In this project, I actually learnt a lot especially in this project because it involves urban theory, henceforth it actually made me understand how important it is to consider context and the community in a deeper level while designing.

Moving on to phase 2.1, it already transitioned into an individual project. We have to present our initial ideas, concept and strategies for our final project design. Given a limited time, it was a challenge to finish early and it is yet another sleepless project for me. But despite not sleeping, I was grateful that I managed to put a lot of effort in pouring my ideas in the boards and conveyed a clear and good presentation, which led to a promising result.

Lastly was the phase 2.2 project, it was genuinely the project with the most sleepless night i had ever done so far. I spent 7-8 days of only sleeping 2-3 hours each day in order to complete the boards because in this semester the requirements skyrocketed so much from semester 4, it was a huge transition. Being chased by the due date while also disciplining myself to not reduce my quality of work, it made me learn so much in terms of mental resilience and also skills, especially in design ideas and also my photoshop. Although it felt like torture, in the end I am grateful to be able to push through and had grown stronger.
