Architecture Design III

REFLECTION

Honestly semester 3 has the toughest studio module, as all of us are shifting from manual to digital and most us had no experience in using the required software. Not only that, the assignments were also completely different from the previous studios which left me into a very confused and stressed state. Even though the first two assignments were group assignments, it was still tough due to the much given workload and it was the first time for me to work in a group with completely new people that i never worked with before. Throughout the group projects it was challenging for me because I felt not comfortable with the people I work with as they were not my friends previously, however thankfully I managed to get out of my comfort zone and stepped up to be a co-leader in the first project to help out the leader in managing the group. Eventually we did quite well and got an average result. As for the final project, it was definitely the hardest project I had to face throughout my previous semesters as I struggled in understanding the assignment and also operating the software needed like Revit, Enscape and Photoshop. Due to those reasons I found myself not doing the best for this project and felt regretful as I did not try to learn the software sooner, so time better time management was definitely needed. This module made me learn that I should explore more software that were needed in doing architecture assignments in order to execute projects better and not underestimate it as it took a lot of time to fully master it.
